Justin Rosales

When asked what his definition of sexual assault was, Justin said that the question itself was kind of weird because so many things can be considered sexual assault.

"Many factors can go into sexual assault. Sexual assault could be being groped or someone saying unwanted sexual things to you or even sending unsolicited nudes."

What should Texas State do to discourage/condemn sexual assault, and how can they better help the victim(s) on camps?

"I think Texas State needs to be transparent about sexual assault. They should highlight it and maybe have counseling groups for the victims." Justin said, "We should also promote those groups for people to have an outlet to use."

What should Texas State University do to discourage/condemn sexual assault, and how can they better help the victim(s) on campus?

Jordan said, "I feel like Texas State actually does a lot. They have the counseling center, student health center, student of diversity and inclusion where you can go talk to people, the police department. Texas State has a bunch of resources that are available for us to use"

"Sexual assault is when someone invades your personal space without without being respectful about it. They take advantage of you in a personal way."

What should Texas State University do to discourage/condemn sexual assault, and how can they better help the victim(s) on campus?

"They should offer classes where it empowers people to want to tell their story." Jordyn said, "They can have gatherings every few weeks that gives advice on what to do if you encounter a situation where you feel like you were sexually assaulted."
